About Michelle

Michelle was born and raised in Oxnard, and has been at Embrace for 9 years. She decided to start Chosen, our youth ministry, in 2019 for her daughter, Bella, and has been faithfully running it ever since.

Her favorite thing about working with the youth is seeing how much God loves them, and getting to show them that love. She also enjoys teaching them how to have a real and lasting relationship with Him. Michelle's favorite thing about Embrace as a whole is the people because she says it feels like a family.

Outside of Embrace, she enjoys hiking, reading, and doing the Lord's work. She says the coolest thing God's done for her is opened doors to her childhood dream of doing missions work, and her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 31:3 because it shows God's love and tenderness, which is who He has been to her.​​
