About Jason

Jason was born in Ventura, but was raised in Santa Paula. He's been a member of Embrace Church for over ten years, and has served on staff for six of them. He serves as the church's Care Pastor, and he says the best part of his job is getting to build authentic relationships with the people God puts in his path.

He says he has many favorite things about Embrace, but one of them is the family unit the church has and the way they love each other as God has called them to love one another. The coolest things God has done for him are helping him see his true identity and calling him into a leadership position because he did not see that coming.

When Jason's not at Embrace, he enjoys collecting music and is skilled at organization. His favorite Bible verses are Nehemiah 8:10 (The joy of the Lord is my strength) and John 9:3 ("Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.")
